Pass Guidelines:
To Reserve a Museum Pass: One pass per family per day. No more than two passes per month may be reserved by any one family. Anyone, regardless of home town, may borrow a museum pass. However, only Haverhill residents and those who purchase a "fee card" may reserve the following in advance: Museum of Science, Children's Museum-Boston, and the New England Aquarium. (Reservations may also be made by calling the library and dialing Ext. 603)
Pass Pick Up: Passes may be picked up at the Main Desk on the day before your reservation (during normal library hours). Most week-end passes may be picked up on the preceding Friday. A valid MVLC library card is required at time of pick up.
Pass return: Passes with barcodes must be returned by 8:00 AM the next morning in the envelope provided. Passes may be returned via the Book Drop. A $2.00 per day late fee will be charged if the passes are returned after 8:30 AM If other patrons are prevented from using the passes because of late return, their admission must be paid. A $10.00 replacement charge will be assessed if the passes are lost.
If your plans change: please call the library to cancel (978) 373-1586 ext. 603
Please note that some museums require paying a
surcharge per person to visit the museum. This
fee generates revenue to help continue programs and exhibits. Not all museum
passes admit the same number of people. Check with the Library for details.
A special thank you goes to our
sponsors. Without their generosity and support these passes would not be
available to our patrons.
