Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join the Teen Advisory Board at the Haverhill Public Library. The teen advisory board will be responsible for planning programs for teens and ordering materials.
Upcoming Meetings:
Meetings are 3:15 - 4:45 PM in the Pentucket Medical Association room on the 1st Floor of the Library.
Next meeting: In the fall! Have a nice summer!!!!

An information sheet is available;
qualifications and responsibilities are posted below. If you are
interested in joining the Teen Advisory Board, please fill out the
application (opens in Microsoft Word) and
return it to Alissa at the Reference/Information desk, or email it to
alauzon@mvlc.org. Applications
are also available at the Reference/Information desk at the library.
Qualifications for a Teen Advisory Board Member:

Must be a Haverhill or
Bradford resident between the ages of 13 and 18
·
Must be willing to commit to
1.5 hours once a month for a meeting
·
Must be able to fulfill the
responsibilities of a Teen Advisory Board Member
·
Must enjoy working with others
as a team
·
Should be interested in the
library and improving library services to teens
Responsibilities of a Teen Advisory Board Member:
·
Attend all meetings and be an
active participant
·
Attend as many programs as
possible and help with setup and cleanup
·
Be a responsible library user
·
Set an example of appropriate
library behavior for your peers
·
Help promote participation in library programs for teens
