National Book Awards 2019

On November 20th, the 70th National Book Awards Ceremony and Benefits Dinner took place. These awards have been given out since 1950 “to celebrate the best writing in America,” and the current categories for awards are Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Translated Literature, and Young People’s Literature. The National Book Foundation’s website lists the 2019 award winners, as well as the finalist and longlist nominees. Check out or put a hold on a winning book at HPL!
