What Would George Washington Read?

George Washington at HPLGood Ol’ George Washington stands looking out all day over the Barefoot Boy on the first floor of HPL. Stuck in the middle of the library, George Washington must be dying to pick up and browse through some of our fantastic books everyday.

The friendly Reference librarians gave George a handful of books to keep him from getting too bored. If you ever need help finding that next great book to read, stop by the Reference desk and ask Dava, Nancy, Dawn or Jaclyn for a recommendation.

Here’s George’s books if you’re interested:

Eat Your Yard! Edible trees, shrubs, vines herbs and flowers for your landscape by Nan Chase

Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell

The Whole Tooth by Marvin J. Schessel, D.D.S.
