The Rosie Project – Graeme Simsion
The Rosie Project tells the story of Don Tillman, a handsome genetics professor with Asperger’s, who is looking for the perfect wife. In order to do so, he launches The Wife Project, for which he develops a very interesting and funny questionnaire in order to weed out imperfect candidates. Don meets Rosie, a beautiful but disorganized bartender who’s looking for her biological father, which becomes The Father Project. Rosie is the total opposite of the perfect wife and is disqualified right away as a potential candidate for The Wife Project. But soon enough The Father Project becomes more important to Don than his own projects and rules. Is it possible that Rosie is so wrong for Don that she is perfect? Although a little predictable, I thought this book was brilliant and cleverly written, and most important it kept me laughing out loud the whole time.
