Saving Mr. Banks

untitledSaving Mr. Banks is inspired by the 1964 Disney musical “Mary Poppins.” It plays out in California where the Australian born British author P.L Travers “Mrs. Travers” has gone to see Walt Disney to oversee the making of the movie “Mary Poppins.” You will get to see how they came up with the songs “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” and “A Spoonful of Sugar.” You will travel with Mrs. Travers through her childhood memories and the struggle of letting go of her creativity rights to “Mary Poppins.” The 60’s décor and fashion throughout the film adds something special to the story line.
