The Greatest Love Story Ever Told: An Oral History

Image result for the greatest love story ever told The Greatest Love Story Ever Told: An Oral History is the true story of how Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) met, fell in love, and live a life of wedded bliss. Set up in an interview style with each other, the two go back and forth recalling their first impressions of each other, first date, first kiss, and so on. Chapters are themed (family, domestic life, religion, etc) and they discuss each one and how it works into their relationship. Naturally, with these two, this book is downright hilarious. I listened to the audiobook version (in which they read – although it’s much more like just listening to a conversation) and I laughed out loud countless times. If you do listen to the audio, make sure to listen all the way through the acknowledgements as there’s a bonus chapter hidden at the very end! The print version has several hilarious photoshoots as well as a whole section of pictures of puzzles they’ve completed (in the audio version they describe each picture in great detail). If you’re a fan of Nick and/or Megan, or just want a good laugh, I highly recommend this book!
