Thursday Evening Book Club

All book groups are subject to the Haverhill Public Library's Adult Book Discussion Group Policies and Procedures.

The Thursday Evening Book Group meets on the last Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Pentucket Medical Associates meeting room.  This group was started in May 1998. There are currently 15 members of varied ages and backgrounds. 

Each month the members are given reviews, biographical information on the author, and a library copy of the book to be discussed.

The Thursday Evening Book Group was featured in The Book Club Cookbook: Recipes and food for thought from your favorite book club’s favorite books and authors by Judy Gelman and Vicki Levy Krupp (Penguin Putnam, 2004).
