Mobile Device eBook Download Instructions
Enjoy Library eBooks from your Mobile Device
(Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, iTouch, iPad and other tablets)
PDF Version of Nook, Sony, Kobo, Android and More… Download Instructions
- Install the Mobile App
- From the App store (Market store, etc.) search and install the “OverDrive Media Console” app
- Authorize the App
- Sign in with your Adobe ID or Register at Adobe and follow the instructions
- Find your library
- Find your library by name, city or postal code
- Browse
- Click “Get Book” to get to the MVLC OverDrive website
- Browse the “New eBooks” collection
- Browse the “eBook fiction” collection
- Browse the “eBook non-fiction” collection
- Sign in
- Enter your library card number
- Select
- Select “Adobe EPUB eBook”
- Add to Bookbag OR Place a Hold (you will receive an email when the book is available for you)
- Checkout
- Go to your “Digital Account”
- Click your “Bookbag”
- Click “Proceed to checkout”
- Select the lending period you prefer (7, 14 or 21 days)
- Click “Confirm checkout”
- Click “Download”
- OverDriveMediaConsole will be loading the title on your device
- To read, just select the book
- Return and Delete
Note: You do NOT have to return a book. When the lending period is over the eBook will automatically be returned. But for many reasons, you may want to return your eBook before the lending period is over. To do so, follow these simple steps:- Open the Overdrive App
- Click “Bookshelf” button (top right)
- Click “Edit” button (top left), and then click the delete icon
- Click “Delete” and select “Return then Delete”
