HPL CLOSED TO PUBLIC BUT STILL OPEN ONLINE!

Public Notice

Haverhill Public Library will be closed to the public and all programs and meetings have been suspended until otherwise directed.  The decision to resume normal activities will be based upon the recommendations of the Board of Health, in consideration of state and federal agencies’ recommendations, and the overall status of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Due dates have been extended and no late fees will be assessed during this time.  We encourage you to please hold all items currently checked out and not to return them to the library.

Staff will be in the building to answer questions via email and phone. We will monitor social media. We are working on possible solutions for providing some access to the collection, we will update as we develop solutions.

Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and twitter for the most up-t0-date information and our virtual programming.

We understand the complications this may present to our patrons, but we ask for your patience and understanding as we act with an abundance of caution and with public safety and the well-being of our patrons in mind.

Please access our extensive online services via our website.

The Friends of HPL have decided to close their shop indefinitely.

Any questions or concerns may be directed to Library staff. We are happy to do our best to support our community through this developing situation.   Please contact us: reference@haverhillpl.org or 978-373-1586

Thank you,

Your Library Staff
