Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is observed each May to celebrate the accomplishments of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.

In advance of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month this year, Insider published a great list of books by AAPI (American Asian and Pacific Islander) authors and about AAPI experiences. Here are a few that are available through the MVLC OverDrive Digital Library:

OverDrive also has a featured collection of Chinese-language materials. This collection can be accessed by clicking on the “Collections” tab near the top of the main page, and then clicking on “Chinese Collection” under “Featured Collections.”

OverDrive has materials in a number of languages. To search for materials in a specific language, go to the advanced search option, click on the arrow in the “Languages” box, and select a language; you can then perform a search that limits results to materials in that language.
